The November meeting will be held at Art Atkinson's office in the Portland neighborhood. The topic this month is Webmin. We are having a "Distro of the month" feature where we look at a different Linux distro at the beginning of the meeting. We will not be installing the distro at the meeting just checking out the look and feel. We are still looking for help with content on the website. We really need to jazz it up a bit but I am artisticly challanged. You might also catch someone on our IRC channel on freenode we are of course #kyoss. The #kyoss irc has been very active the last few days so come on over. [We're meeting jointly with the PHP meetup to form the nascent Kentucky Open Source Society! For more information, see
http://www.kyoss.org] The easiest way to get to the meeting location is to come west on Main Street to 17th Street turn right and go one block to Rowan Street. We are the building on the North West corner of 17th and Rowan. 17th Street is not continuous from Broadway to Rowan. There will be limited offstreet parking so get here early. The gate is off of Rowan street and will be open until about 7:15 or until the lot is full. If you park on 17th Streeet just ring the doorbell and someone will let you in.

This month Richard was the speaker (listed as a developer on the webmin.com website:http://www.webmin.com/developers.html), and gave some examples, demo'd a number of features and examples, and the people who showed up provided a number of "problems" they had, and we showed how Webmin could resolve it.
We also discussed reasons/times not to use it, and how to secure it properly from the web. Contact Richard for info on Webmin, or visit: http://www.webmin.com/index.html

Richard gave a great and thorough explanation of Webmin. A great tool that will come in handy in the future.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
