Hey singles! Palmyran Rebels is proud to present this year's 1st DATING PROFILE PERK UP!
No one likes to fill out those personality profile quizzes. Don't worry - you're not alone! Louisville Speed Dating is here to help you show yourself off in the very best possible light.
Dress in something you consider flattering, because we'll be taking up to date photos of you. No more camera phone shots taken in your mirror!
Bring a printed copy of one online dating profile. It can be from Match.Com, Chemistry, OK Cupid, Plenty of Fish, JDate, or anything else. We'll give everyone advice on how to turn a so-so profile into a real eyecatcher. After that, a member of the opposite sex will give you a few minutes of personal help bringing out your best. While waiting your turn, have a drink, mingle with the other singles, and mug for the camera.
Final location will be announced based on number of RSVP's, so sign up now!
Thanks, Brendan! I really appreciate the positive feedback.
Just so you know, even if only 5 people show up, you WILL get quality new photos, great personalized dating advice, and some printouts with scientific data on what's been proven to work online.
Did my comment get deleted?I'm still awaiting a response from Palmryan Rebels about the cost for this event.Who exactly does this money go to?You I presume?Sounds like a scam to me!Please correct me if I'm wrong. What are your credentials?(Brendan refers to you as a professional)Just curious as to where you went to school and what your degree is in?I think I'll come to this event as an observer.Could you possibly bring those credentials with you?I look forward to meeting you in person very much!
Mollie, Meetup is sometimes a little flaky. I'm sorry you didn't get my earlier response. As for my ability to write and teach, I have a MA in History, a BA in English, and have worked as both a professional writer and a teacher. I'm currently a professional event planner who puts together around 8 events per month. As someone who has also done a lot of online dating, I feel like it's a public service to help people shine as their very best online instead of coming across badly.
Refunds offered if:
Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
Log in to Meetup with your Facebook account.
The photos and professional advice alone are worth much more than $25. I hope some more people RSVP.
