Indie TRPGs interest?

I have a set of indie and little-known TRPG's that I would love to run. If you are interested, please post,.

Here are the games and systems that I have:
Marvel Heroic Roleplaying (Marvel)
The One Ring (LotR)
Sailor Moon TRPG
Danmaku Yuugi (Touhou)
Brass and Steel (Steampunk)
My Little Pony TRPG (MLP:FiM)
Anima: Beyond Fantasy (Very rules-heavy)

UPDATE:

A date and time has been put down.  Here is what everyone needs to bring if they can:

1) Any non-mainstream TRPG's you happen to own--the more options, the better--and your dice.

2) a. A snack or beverage for everyone to share

OR

2) b. Paper plates or plastic cups
I will be waiting on the first floor of Eckstrom Library, on the old side of the building (the side with the brick floor). There is a seating area surrounded by bookshelves. That is where I will be.
We were there until 6pm when the library closed at 6 pm and then we went to the west side (the student study side) until about 6:30. Sorry to have missed you bud.

    ATTENTION!

For those of you unfamiliar with the UofL campus, the best place to park is the red parking lot next to the School of Music. It opens for public parking at five PM.

I felt a little sick last night, but mostly okay this morning. If I totally feel back to good, I'll be there tonight, but if I'm not quite there, I don't want to get anyone else ill.

Don't worry about it if you can't come.

I'm afraid I'll have to head home around 8, so I'll have to pass on Denny's.

    Attention everyone!

A slight complication has come up. The shuttle that runs around campus taking people to and from their cars stops running at 9. After that people would have to walk a good distance in the dark. We will have to end our meeting before then. It may just have to be an introductions and "see our options" session.

    Thank you.

Since this will be down the road from me, I'll see if I can attend though don't know if I'll be down there right at 5. (only get off at work @ 4:30)

I'll bring my cortex systems (Serenity & Supernatural).

I have a question is this on the University Of Louisville campus?

I'll bring some games and I've got lots of dice, no worries there. I'll also bring some diet caffeine free Coke with red solo cups. Now for the questions: Will there be ice at the location or should I bring that as well? Also will they let me into the library with that stuff or do I have to sneak it in? Also too, are we meeting before hand so we can follow someone to the location to make sure we're all at the right place? I'm just so full of questions today. :D

    November 15, 2013

    • Malinda

There is no ice, but the library does have a Heine Brothers and people do bring stuff in and through, so long as it's closed until you get where you're going.

Where in Ekstrom will it be?

    November 14, 2013

How about... third floor, in one of the large study rooms. Old side of the building.

I've set the date for the 22nd at 5, but the time is flexible depending on everyone's schedule. I'll be listing what to bring on the main information area.

Just to be sure... We'll be getting together and play a short "intro" game? I cannot commit to a permanent or regular event, I will bring my Doctor Who stuff... it's quick and easy.

For players: bring paper, a writing implement and a couple of D6s...

      November 14, 2013

Since this is the first meeting for this group I don't think we're going to do much beyond just getting characters ready and putting faces to names. You may not miss much really Feiah. But the next Friday after the 22nd is black Friday and the beginning of the holiday craziness which may pose a special kind of problem all its own. I'm all for at least setting down and getting to know people if nothing else. If people want to postpone I'm good. I just wanted to bring that to people's attention.

      November 14, 2013

    • Malinda

Yes, I'm aware. I'm thinking of it as an interest meeting myself, where we can get to know each other.

Hello everyone! In response to a few comments, I would first like to know what days are best for everyone to meet. My best days are Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Secondly, if anyone has some indie or small-press TRPG's, please bring them. When we meet, we can all talk and decide together what we would like to do after we have seen and discussed our options.

I can do (pick one): Call of Cthulhu, Doctor Who, Sailor Moon, or DC Adventures.
I have no interest in 4e, but would be interested in trying out most of the other systems mentioned.

Hello, everyone. I am trying to think of a potential location together. Right now, the only thing I can think of is the University of Louisville campus. The main library (Ekstrom) has private, free-to use study rooms of varying sizes equipped with whiteboards and large tables, and I have seen other groups playing there on occasion. The library also has a Heine Brothers on the first floor, and there are several places on campus that snacks can be acquired.

Of course, I'm biased because I am a student there. But I think it would be good to choose a place where everyone is comfortable.

U of L works for me. It's about an hour dirve into town but I'm up for it. I would need directions to find the location on campus, or we could meet someplace like Starbucks beforehand and you lead us to the spot.

      November 4, 2013

    • Malinda

Yes, that would work, I suppose. I can provide both a badly-drawn map of the campus and also directions.

I've played Marvel Heroic before and found it to be a blast. I never played the Sailor Moon RPG, but I own the book and played a homebrewed BESM game for an entire year back in college. While I'm a big fan of Touhou, I'm more familiar with the fanworks than the offical games. My schedule is a little awkward at this point, but I am interested a good portion of these games.

Hey Malinda, I'm always interested in playing Indie RPGs. Anything where the story is backed up or furthered by mechanics is great; because I'm sucker for a good story. I've played quite a few of the more popular IRPGs: Burning Wheel, Houses of the Blooded, and of course metric-tons of Apocalypse World (and it's variations). For a while I thought I was the only person in KY to even own a copy of Polaris. While I've never got to actually play Polaris I'm hopeful that one day it will happen.
I'm not much into Anime stuff but I am open to trying to new systems. I do love me some super heroes RPGs too, but it's sort of hard to find people to run them locally. I've got an ICONS game that I've been working on for a while now, but in the mean time I wouldn't mind playing. Let me know if you get something together.

    November 1, 2013

I will be sure to let you know if I get something running.

Great, thanks for letting me know. Depending on the day and time my wife may be joining us too. I just wanted to let you know up front so there isn't a suprise when an extra player shows up. :D I'll let you know when the ICONs game is up and running too, if you're interested.
