Pace: Comfortable to allow conversation and sight seeing.

    What to bring: Water.

So come out and try it out for a little bit of exercise or just come to socialize while checking out something different.

I hope the weather will never get unbearable but it might. I had some interest in kayaking but have never tried it. Since I don't have any hikes that day I will stop by. Now where is Long Run Park Lake? Thanks, Kevin

Its in Eastern Jefferson Co. Just a few miles down Shelbyville rd. from the new Parklands / Floyds fork entrance. Turn left at the light onto Flat Rock rd. and long run is on the right.http://goo.gl/maps/f4...

Good Morning to you. Due to the weather we are forced to cancel this event. It is not a Stroll in the woods but more likely a mud slide in the woods. We regret this inconvience and look forward to next week along with much better weather.

Due to the rain and mud, I believe I'm going to back out of hiking today, Chris. I do look forward to the next time. . .Happy Sloshing

We will walk this trail 2 hours prior to the hiking event to make sure all is well depending on the amount of rain we might get. If Sunday turns out to be an all day rain situation we will cancel this hike. Thank you for your understanding.

I'll probably be bringing a dog and my mom.

That would be fine. Just make it a +1 to your RSVP. I believe your mom and you would like this trail.
