I want to thank everyone for their concern with my little ordeal last night. Hard to believe a little bee sting can amount to so much. Today I'm feeling just fine. My knee us a little sore where the sting took place, but I can tough that out. The doc told me what flared the allergy was being stung two times in two weeks. Now that I've had the reaction I will be much more sensitive. Good times on the trail. Everyone has been great! I'll be out tomorrow and Sunday. This won't slow me down at all. : )

Great caring group. It was wonderful of Liz to take Rob to the ER. I'm in good hands here with this group.

Rob Demply was not at the Circle K like he said he would be. Has anyone heard from him? I am worried.

I carry a first aid kit and snake bite kit, but epipens are by script only. I will stick some Benadryl in my first aid kit. It may have something similar in it already, I will check.

Benadryl is better than nothing in a pinch. It should buy time at least.

We want to really thank you for spending this evening hiking with us. I enjoyed every moment and hope you did as well.
The only update on Rob Dempley I have is that Liz Evans went to take him to SS Mary and Elizabeth emergency room. He did get stung on the trail by something and had a major allergic reaction. Lucy, our resident RN tried to help as well. The immediate care center was not open that is why the hospital. It goes without saying that we all wish him the very best in dealing with this situation.
And here I go again, I really have never seen the closeness of a group as large as ours where everybody helps one another in a time of need. I am thankful and proud to be associated with all of this.
As soon as we know more we will update this again. Good luck, Rob. Thank you Liz for taking him. Thank you Lucy. Thank you Steven Howlett for sweeping this hike for us.
See you all on the next hike !!
