What kind of hikes would you like to join us on? (backpacking, short and slow day hikes, fast and long day hikes, etc...)
more of a turtle hiker, like to look around so if its a speedy hike Im not so interested. I would be interested in backpacking trips.
Are you new to hiking or have you been hiking for a while now?
took a break for awhile, but have been hiking for 25 years

Pioneer Paddlers is an informal group promoting use and stewardship of the local water resources in Mercer County, and recreational paddling in general. Membership is also informal, and we have about 70 e-mail contacts on the list and 40 people who have joined the facebook group Pioneer Paddlers. The KY and/or Herrington Lake and Dix runs along the east and northeast border, and we also have the Salt and Chaplin Rivers. Now that I am married I am enjoying the local flat waters.

There should be about 30 kayaks for you to demo and ACA certified instructors to give you lessons, live music and Fatman's BBQ. I have 2 kayaks, one is a sit on top that I could take you sometime. 383-3061 Susan -
