Community Outreach & Education Committee - 1st Meeting

Meetup members ~ As you might know, Love-A-Bull has finally formed official committees to empower our volunteers to work on specific program areas they most enjoy (not limited to one) and to better serve the organization. This is the first meeting for the "Community Outreach & Education Committee" and as such we plan to begin announcing committee meetings to encourage and allow anyone who is interested to join!

So without further ado... (I always wanted to say that)

Please join us to hear about upcoming events and activities that Love-A-Bull has planned, and needs your help to staff and organize! This is a great way to participate in community awareness and education on behalf of pit bull type dogs, and we need everyone's help.  We will be deciding on a monthly committee meeting time, so please come and share your thoughts and ideas (or just listen) so that we can plan to move forward with your participation!

We will be meeting this Saturday 8/10 from 1-2pm at Genuine Joe Coffeehouse located on Anderson Ln. just east of the Burnet Road intersection.

Meetup has allowed me to meet people I wouldn't have met naturally - they're totally different than me.
