Love-A-Bull Rescue Committee Meeting

Love-A-Bull's rescue committee runs the rescue and foster program. We meet once a month (usually the third Sunday of each month). We have lots of opportunities on our committee, from working with the dogs, adoption events, foster mentoring to admin tasks for the rescue and foster programs. **Rescue committee members do not pull dogs into the rescue program. They assist and support the dogs already in our program. If you are interested in learning more before coming to a meeting please email [masked] for more info!

We'll be meeting in the Austin Animal Center training room.

Thank you,

Leala, Marsha, & Megan Rescue Committee Chairs

Pit Crew has identified a temporary foster need for families entering the shelter. Many women won't leave animals in a domestic abuse situation, and the shelter is looking for creative solutions. One local shelter has in place a local business agreement for 2 30-day boarding/day care visits for shelter residents' dogs per year. This could address part of the problem -- but that business will not accept pit bull type dogs.
