Mount Pleasant Musing

Tentative agenda:

1. Introductions as necessary, to include:
A. Background.
B. Writing aspirations.
C. What you would like to get from these meetings.

2. Optional assignment for those who need a nudge:

Transform some part of your everyday routine into an exciting adventure.

3. Share work for feedback. Please don’t let a lack of work keep you from attending. It is our mission to help you light that spark. If you post work ahead of time in The Reviewing Arena on the Message Board under the “Discussions” link at the top of your screen, we’ll be able to provide more constructive reviews based on detailed analysis.

4. A little spontaneous conjuring to release any excess creative energy that may be bubbling around in the room.

5. Open forum. Topics could include, but are not limited to:

A.  Anticipation.

B.  Motivation.

C.  Preparation.

Let the creativity flow from your soul!

First time I had been to Mt. Pleasant Musings and I thoroughly enjoyed the people and their presentations, their interest and their inputs! What a good group....hope I've made some new friends and cohorts in crime! I look forward to future mtgs. there under the auspices of our fine instigator, Dave! Good job Dave....

Hi All - I'm moving to Charleston (am originally from Australia, lived in Vegas since 2006, and spent the past few months in Louisiana).

I don't arrive until March 10th so look forward to meeting everyone and contributing to the group after then... Sending miles of smiles... ~ Leigh

Dave, the prompt for this mtg. is a tad confusing....do you mean put some "fiction" into an otherwise dull, daily routine?

Annette, use your imagination to transform the ordinary into something extraordinary, as Ted Kooser does in his poem about Dishwater: http://www.poets.org/...
