1. Find the place. The Ashley Crossing Apartments are located on Ashley Crossing Drive, just off Magwood Road between Paul Cantrell Blvd and Ashley River Road (Hwy 61). We’ll be in the Clubhouse adjacent to the Leasing Office. Please avoid parking in the two slots identified as “Future Resident Parking.” There is plenty of parking nearby.

2. Introductions as necessary, to include:
A. Background.
B. Writing aspirations.
C. What you would like to get from these meetings.

3. Optional assignment for those who need a nudge:

 Taking Drastic Measures
Around mid-morning one day, you realize that everything that is happening seems really familiar. After much thought you discover that your life has fallen into a terrible rut and now you must take drastic measures to find a way out of it. Write the scene where you make a life-changing decision.

 4. Share work for feedback. Please don’t let a lack of work keep you from attending. It is our mission to help you light that spark. If you post work ahead of time in The Reviewing Arena on the Message Board under the “Discussions” link at the top of your screen, we’ll be able to provide more constructive reviews based on detailed analysis.

5. Some spontaneous writing to stir the pot of your imagination.

6. Open forum. Topics could include, but are not limited to:

B. Feedback.
