Atheists of Greater Lowell Monthly Social Meetup

  • April 2, 2014 · 7:00 PM

Come join us every first Wednesday of the month for our friendly and casual social get together where we discuss the latest news and events in the atheist and secular community and strike up various conversations relating to atheism (philosophy, humanism, a/theology, politics, and scientific skepticism). We also like to talk about just about anything else of interest (geek culture, technology, pets, etc.) and chill with like-minded people like yourself.

If you are new to the group, please come in and say hi. If you are nervous, don't be. Many of us had the same feeling the first time and then decided to come a second, third, etc. Feel free to come alone or with a friend or more. Just come. We enjoy having those conversations that you may find difficult to have with your family, friends, or coworkers. You may be surprised what friends you will find here.

See you soon.

It's possible I was spreading gossip. I don't know the specifics. I just heard from two news sources that he was, or might have been, excommunicated. I have no idea how that happens.

Ever see the excommunication in Becket (Paramount 1964)? Richard Burton does a bang up job.

Rev. Phelps kicked the bucket. Who will lead the Westboro Baptist Church now? No funeral is planned.

I thought Nate Phelps said his dad was excommunicated and then said he was wrong about that

He was excommunicated? Obviously I'm out of touch when it comes to matters WBC. Was there a ceremony? How was he deposed? I hope it's on video. I'll have a look.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
