Cook County's Sales Taxes are out of control. The 10.25% retail sales tax rate in Chicago is the highest in the U.S!
Schaumburg's 12% Bar & Restaurant Tax is the highest in the history of the nation!
It's time we stand up and be heard. We're not going to take it anymore. Sales taxes must come down before all of our retail business and jobs move to bordering counties and states.
Inspired by the Millions of citizens across the country who have participated in 1,000 of tea party parades & protests we will show our support for low taxes on Labor Day this year.
The Cook County Labor Day Tea Party Parade with the Schaumburg Freedom Coalition will be held at the Schaumburg Septemberfest Labor Day Parade Monday September 7, 2009.
Expected attendance for Schaumburg's annual parade is close to 75,000 with many politicians and political parties involved.
Let's get more people to line up with the Schaumburg Freedom Coalition to fight high taxes than all other political organization combined, and let them hear our low tax & fiscal responsibility message!
