After Tax Day, Chicago Libertarian Fund Raising Party at Durkins

Come to the 1st Fundraising party thrown by the Libertarian Party of Chicago for 2009! Enjoy drinks and an informative film from the noted film director Aaron Russo -- "From Freedom to fascism" Get to know other members of the party or just come to have a good time.

The party will be from 6:00-9:00PM on Wednesday April 29th at Durkin's near the corner of Diversey and Halsted on 810 W. Diversey. It is just 3 1/2 blocks east of the brown/Purple (express) line using the CTA.

The drink special package we have arranged includes the following for those three hours:
Domestic Drafts, Well Drinks, Wine and Soft Drinks.

The price for this party, which includes the drink package and the donation to the Libertarian Party of Chicago, is $25.00 at the door.

Food can be ordered separately at the bar.

We will be in the back room that has been reserved for us.

Please RSVP to this invite no later than April 22nd so we can give the Bar a good heads up on how many are coming.

A lot of good people showed up for the event and we had a good time. The venue was nice and was able to accomadate about 60 people. Many new people were informed about who we are and what we stand for and the comments were all positive. Thanks to everyone who attended.
