We're all busy, but some of the time we just have to get out there and stand up for what we believe in. If only a few are there, they can be dismissed. Keeping track of what's going on lets you get to the things you don't want to miss, and keeps you in tune with what's going on, even when your schedule won't allow you to get there.

I challenge each and every one of you to reach out and touch another...show them the merits and satisfaction that comes from Libertarianism. We can't do this alone. Let's find a few more friends and begin to make our mark on this landscape so that reason and accountability become a standard instead of a dream. I look forward to working with each and every one of you on what it is that drives you for I will make that my crusade as well. I simply cannot wait to see what happens next.

We can't just be complacent and let the government railroad us. We have to stand up for our rights, and have to stand up and let them know enough is enough. It should've never gotten to this point, but we can't let it continue.

Becuase of all of the major or minor American political parties only the Libertarians fully appreciate human potential and the reality that true human potential can only flourish in a country dedicated to freedom and on gaurd against government infringement of that freedom.

This was a great opportunity to see how people react to how they place on the Nolan chart. Some were surprised and one Democrat was shocked and ran for cover. :-)

  •  Met several potential friends of the LP. The guest speaker was State Senator Shawn Mitchell. He is a good, amiable speaker and very anti-regulation and pro-business. I did not get the chance to talk to him, as he was mobbed after the meeting, but I will follow up with him and try to cultivate this relationship. Made several other contacts that might be useful in the future, including Lin Zinser of "Freedom and Invidual Rights in Medicine," or "FIRM." She might be a great speaker at a future meeting, and she already agreed to come speak with us. See her site at http://westandfirm.org/
