There will be a Littleton Election Commission meeting on Wednesday, June 26th, where Frank Atwood will be proposing the use of Approval Voting as their official voting method. Should the Littleton EC decide to use AV, it will be implemented for Littleton elections starting in 2015.
Frank invites attendees to also join him for lunch afterward, a couple blocks southwest at Jose's, at 11:30am. Jose's is located at 2420 W Main St.

Approval Voting is the solution to too many election spoilers, too much sabotage, too much polarization and not enough civility. Approval Voting lets the voter vote for more than one candidate - it removes the "vote for only one" restriction. The winner is the candidate that collects the most votes.
Perot in 1992 and Nader in 2000 are not 100 year election events! These are the problems with the current election (first past the post) system:
Too many election spoilers
Too much sabotage
Too much polarization, and
Not enough civility
With Approval Voting there will be:
more pragmatic honesty when voting
better feedback to candidates as to what voters find acceptable
Approval Voting lets the voter vote for more than one candidate - it removes the "vote for only one" restriction. The winner is the candidate that collects the most votes.
No longer will the voter face the dilemma of being forced to vote for the lesser of two evils - either an “electable” candidate or to “waste” his vote. With Approval Voting, the voter can vote for both!
If you've ever faced the dilemma of “voting for the lesser of two evils” rather than “wasting your vote” on the candidate you prefer; then you can see Approval Voting is the solution.
