"...but who'll adopt the roads?" -- LPAC Volunteer Event

Libertarians have always espoused the idea that community involvement and private charity are great alternatives to big government "solutions." The Libertarian Party of Arapahoe County (LPAC) is committed to making the public aware of libertarian principles, and we will be volunteering, as a county Libertarian affiliate party, for various charitable and community-oriented organizations.

LPAC has joined the Arapahoe County Adopt-a-Road program, and we're organizing our second cleanup day!

We are planning on cleaning the one-mile stretch of South Himalaya Street, between Quincy and Reservoir, in unincorporated Arapahoe County.

We will be meeting at 3:30pm at Aspen Crossing Elementary, which is in the middle of the stretch, to hand out supplies and safety equipment.

After the cleanup, we will gather at A-Town Pizza (a couple miles west at 17060 E Quincy Ave Aurora, CO 80015  -- SE corner of Quincy and Buckley, in the Target plaza) to relax and celebrate our accomplishment.

* Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age, and sign a liability waiver.*

Please wear your LPAC Volunteer T-shirts during the cleanup. We may be able to lend you the t-shirt size you need, but these t-shirts may be purchased for $15, if you wish to have your own for future volunteer events.

You do not need to be from Arapahoe County to help with the effort! :)

Does one need a LPAC T-shirt to volunteer at this event?

If you have one, wear one, if you don't, don't worry about it. We have them available for purchase, and *may* have some available to loan out as well :)
