Fotogym: Street Photography with Gary Alexander

The aim of the workshop is to explore street photography in it’s broadest sense and to give the participants the opportunity to develop confidence, explore their own visual ideas and find ways to successfully photograph on the streets. Gary Alexander is a photographer and teacher and has been photographing on the streets of London for over twenty years. 11-12 Talk: Gary will show examples from the history of street photography and lead a discussion about what it means now. This will include a look at different methods and approaches, including ways to photograph people.

12-2:30: Inspired by the talk, go out and shoot!

2:30: Lunch and submission of pictures for critique In this time you may submit any pictures you want used in the critique, please can you bring a empty memory card and only shoot in jpeg.
