Yes, I'd love to hit the range sometime. Just let me know when you want to go. I love this time of year temperature-wise (though not this week! - where did Spring fly off to?!). There's a gun show in Raleigh, I believe it's April 30th through May 1st?? So I definitely want to go to that. Is the Meetup taking a "field trip" together? I'm such a newbie and (slightly) intimidated by all that I don't know (which is almost everything!)! :D Are there a few good "primer" websites for newbies?

Oops. I'm sorry. I got confused. I'm really more interested in the LC9 than the LCP. LCP isn't entirely out of the question, but given the pathetic "sights" on it, I really would prefer the LC9 which I can use both at the range and for personal defense and still really enjoy range shooting.

Hey Matthew. Considering saving for either the taurus pt709 slim or the Ruger LCP. Glock is out of my $ range. Didnt care much for 709's trigger tho on dryfire, & not sure abt Taurus's quality build. Will look into Kel-Tec PF-9 too. Haven't handled Ruger LCP yet. I like thumb safety w/o trigger safety. Suggestions? Which is best? Also which cal is cheaper (.380 or 9mil)? Thanks! Sarah Bosse
