Cloud Computing is the new paradigm for IT Infrastructure and Services Delivery with the potential of rapidly transforming the IT landscape in the country, This has direct implications on bootstrapping the economy to the next level.
There are several initiatives being driven in the country to make "Cloud Computing - the new IT normal". The "Cloud Computing Innovation Council" is a platform to spur "collaborative innovation" amongst technologists from Industry, Academia and Government. We would like to brainstorm on what is the right model to make this successful. We look forward to your ideas and active participation in this effort.
Pamela Kumar is 28+ years veteran in the Industry and is now working as one of the drivers of the council. In her illustrious career she worked with many companies including IBM , Texas Instruments at very senior level. She was also the first appointee from India in the IEEE Standards Association. She continues to drive the India liaison with women in engineering for the IEEE SA-BoG.

Every Internet application, in any large scale production setup generates logs from websites, application servers, networks, mobile devices and the likes to record their activity. The data they capture can be a vast source of valuable information to aid in maintaining regulatory compliance, responding to a security incident, or as a troubleshooting aid. This would be our design challenge for this event.

Crawling video websites for ads is not a simple task. The problem is to identify ads on videos and later run video processing pipeline for each of the video ads at scale. We talk about the pipeline which crawls and detects videos ads and then de-duplicates them.
