You want to go to a Greek island for the summer? But, can't afford a ticket? Well hop on the F train and give this place a try. The white blue colour scheme, the backgammon boards against the wall, smell of roasted meat, men talking in Greek while sipping on their coffee - this is as Greek as it gets.
I visited Souvlaki with an old Greek friend of mine and as soon as we were seated he thanked me for bringing him here. We shared the Zuchinni kefthe, Feta dip, pork and chicken souvlaki, frappes, Turkish (Greek) coffee and loukomades.
The food was excellent, the staff friendly and attentive and coffee was delicious.
Grab a friend that you can talk with for hour on end and stop by here for lunch or dinner.
You'll leave feeling like you just for back from Greece.
