George Bruno Big Band's swing will get you up and moving. George Bruno "Zoot" Money (born 17 July 1942, in Bournemouth, Dorset) is a vocalist, keyboardist, bandleader and actor best known for his playing of the Hammond Organ and the Big Roll Band. Inspired by Jerry Lee Lewis and Ray Charles he was drawn to Rock and Roll music and soon became a leading light in the vibrant music scene of Bournemouth, during the 1960s.
For more history on him, please see Wikipedia entry on Zoot Money
Bring a blanket, a picnic, a bottle of wine and be ready to dance! Sunscreen is also highly recommended.
Local food and beverage vendors will be there. Note that a portion of the proceeds from food and beverage sales helps to fund these wonderful events and raise money for neighborhood improvements.
There will be a beer and wine garden. Beer and wine purchased in the garden must stay in the gated garden area.
We encourage carpooling, walking or bicycling to all events. FREE valet bicycle parking is being provided by Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates (SABA) for June 13th, 20th, and 27th concerts.
