See my introduction as the organizer to this group here: http://wine.meetu...![]()
I'm looking forward to meeting new friends that enjoy the wine lifestyle and the environments that often accompany these places and events.
I'd like to learn about ampelography and more specifics on American and French oaks and the differences in character and taste. Also more on acid structure relative to food pairing. If the right teacher(s) can clearly bring this together I'd be wilin
I'm the organizer, so obviously;-)
Don't have the place for that.
Meeting new people and having good experiences which comes through collaboration and my not having to work it further then the planning as the organizer for this group. I want to enjoy myself in other words!
"Multimedia producer which includes webmaster, graphic artist, IT, host, registrar, software expert, Apple Consultant, videographer and editor, photographer, psychologist, and several other hats are worn by this severely underpaid workaholic."
Fun loving wine drinkers who care about quality and learning a thing or two about wine.

"We could certainly do this and I have cards that will help the non-experienced blind taster to understand how the pro's rate wines and learn how to figure out things like terroir and vintage...."
Sacramento Magazine's November Issue Launch Party (FREE to Attend)
"Hard to tell as there were allot of people, but for those who read the email I sent out, we enjoyed the fire pit, each others company and some great music and appetizers. The wines were good and overall excellent ambience! ..."
Placer Valley Wine & Art Party w/ after party @ Basic
"Great event and good time! Basic was fun afterwards and provided time to talk to several of you and with the great pizza, provided a good cap to the night."
From France to Spain at Liz's in Elk Grove
"Glad to meet some of you newbies and see some of you older members. It was a nice evening and we'll have to do it again;-) Liz, you're great and we really appreciate your enthusiasm for life, it's inspirational, God Bless!"
