my name is kathleen, which many have come to know as KAT, and i have a simple request of you ...to read through this email & consider what is possible for the las vegas valley in the arts, and health & wellness community.
i am the visionary of the LAS VEGAS PEACE GROUP ,newly formed here in the valley, & am hoping to establish the group as the nucleus for networking to all those groups, services, & individuals committed to promoting a peaceful & healthy lifestyle for the community of las vegas. one way i have expectations of doing this is by hosting a peace festival every season to gather those aforementioned on one beautiful day & invite the conscious people of las vegas to meet, greet, & indulge in all that this city has to offer to create happiness through inner peace.
the LAS VEGAS PEACE GROUP is not affiliated with just one movement nor does it have a specific agenda other than promoting knowledge & happiness to anyone searching for it & invites all who would like to share in this project to participate in creating a better world for the people of las vegas by donating their time, patience, resources, & knowledge to the peace festival & group.
the first festival is going to be held on october 13,2007 at a local venue called THE BOX OFFICE, located at 1129 s casino cntr blvd in the arts district from 4p-12a.
the simple agenda for the day is promoting peace within to share with everyone on the outside, and in order to do such we must take simple steps to align with this thought process & lifestyle, one of these being a healthier eating agenda, as well as more knowledge of what is available in this city to promote stress-free living that some just aren't fully aware of YET!
i thank you in advance for your time & patience in the matter & assure you that in no way am i asking for a handout other than your representation, knowledge & support for the growing city of Las Vegas. people are coming here daily in search of a better life & The Las Vegas Peace Group is trying to utilize our abilities to help them do so.
