Introduction
Like so many people, I've always had an interest in developing my talent but have lacked the time and/or discipline to really do so. I would like to get a sense of whether I have something to contribute to the group, and something to learn.
How can we find your personal web site, blog, FaceBook, Twitter...?

Would you like to help organize group events? Do you have any particular ideas? In what kind of environments would you like to meetup with other area writers?
Too early for me to commit to help with organizing.
What else can you do? e.g.: teaching, illustration, calligraphy, photography, indexing, research, cover design, editing, proofreading, catering, etc.?
Since my time is very limited right now, I have to control my impulse to volunteer for things.
Have you been published, are you self-published or are you hoping to get published? What type(s) of writing, or aspects of writing are you mainly interested in? Are you interested in collaborative projects?
Nothing beyond letters to local papers. I would like to improve my ability to get opinion pieces into local or national publications.
