Introduction

Hi, My writing experience is somewhat limited to coming up with creative sewing projects / techniques and then writing the instructions. I have done tech editing for manuals and written a video script. I am now back in sales by default.

How can we find your personal web site, blog, FaceBook, Twitter...?

Sure, I have a sewing book in mind and I am not an artist.

Would you like to help organize group events? Do you have any particular ideas? In what kind of environments would you like to meetup with other area writers?

I like writing informational bits. My brain is both technical and creative. Most of my adult life has been spent in the sewing industry. It's what I know. I love doing promotional pieces as well as general promotions. I am a great hawker!

What else can you do? e.g.: teaching, illustration, calligraphy, photography, indexing, research, cover design, editing, proofreading, catering, etc.?

I can edit some. Mostly for continuity and flow.

Have you been published, are you self-published or are you hoping to get published? What type(s) of writing, or aspects of writing are you mainly interested in? Are you interested in collaborative projects?

Yes, I Articles in "Sew News", "Serger Update" and the "Creative sewing Newsletter" magazines. I have bits in the books "creative Serging Illustrated", "Serging Concepts in Sulky" as well as a couple of more obscure books.

How did you hear about the us? What do you most hope to gain from your participation in this group?

I looked in the meetup boards for interesting groups to get involved with.
