Introduction
HI! I'm Kelly. After traveling the country/world for 20 years in the military we moved back home to the Valley. I am a freelance writer, writing for on-line mags and businesses, as well as the Whitehall-Catty News. I cant' wait to meet you all.
How can we find your personal web site, blog, FaceBook, Twitter...?
Absolutely! As they say, sometimes two heads are better than one.
Would you like to help organize group events? Do you have any particular ideas? In what kind of environments would you like to meetup with other area writers?
non-fiction, mystery, fiction, short story, essay - are my most popular types of writing.
What else can you do? e.g.: teaching, illustration, calligraphy, photography, indexing, research, cover design, editing, proofreading, catering, etc.?
Complementary - I would have to say research and photography. I love research - it unfortunately takes a lot of my time, as I always find something else that is interesting. Photography is a passion, I am always with a camera.
Have you been published, are you self-published or are you hoping to get published? What type(s) of writing, or aspects of writing are you mainly interested in? Are you interested in collaborative projects?
My published works at this point, consist of articles written both on-line and for the newspaper I write for. I am in the process of finishing a non-fiction book - my goal is the end of the year.
How did you hear about the us? What do you most hope to gain from your participation in this group?

I used to think I was a good writer, but...
"It seems the economy has gotten to everyone. I have missed the last couple lunches due to work - work I do not really want to do, but do because I am helping my friend run his business...."
