Would you like to help organize group events? Do you have any particular ideas? In what kind of environments would you like to meetup with other area writers?

Just want to get my feet wet and watch and learn.

What else can you do? e.g.: teaching, illustration, calligraphy, photography, indexing, research, cover design, editing, proofreading, catering, etc.?

I don't have much to contribute at this time. At this time, I'm just hoping to get motivated.

Have you been published, are you self-published or are you hoping to get published? What type(s) of writing, or aspects of writing are you mainly interested in? Are you interested in collaborative projects?

Not even close to publishing anything. But it is a dream!

How did you hear about the us? What do you most hope to gain from your participation in this group?

I came across this site searching Meetups. I love to write.......I just don't. So I'm hoping to get motivated by being around other writers.

My friend Melissa and I have started a book club that meets the first Tuesday of the Month at the Promenade Shoppe's Barnes and Noble at 6:30 pm. Our November book is "The Birth of Venus" and our December selection is "The Forgotten Garden" in case you are interested in attending. See you there!
