Hello Everyone! Hope you are all doing well. I have a friend and business associate that is and has encountered that word of backup data pain with his Iphone.
He has already sent his phone to a suggested place in Cali to potentially recover his data, and I believe there has to be a place here or someone here locally that is maybe in our group that can assist. This is a ASAP type thing and not sure yet how much maybe dollar wise would be involved but the first goal and need is to find someone that can assist in data backup recovery of his Iphone.

He is an example of last back up done about?

If someone is available to speak today maybe after lunch?[masked]-8462. Or email me of course [masked]

    Thanks in advance

Hi Phil, so sorry for delay on this. His determination and problem although not totally solved yet, he apparently was using multiple things to his back ups.

PHILLIPE is having a time capsule BU issue. SEAN is walking him thru a method of checking which volume is being back-up since there's an issue with multiple versions of the back-up being recorded. GOOGLE to the rescue! Console search for BU daemon to verify it's working correctly. FLASH is DEAD! If you want to use it there's a way to view it without installing FLASH on your computer. SAFARI prefs - enable DEV menu - INSTALL Google Chrome. It includes flash without the potential problems.

TERRY has been experiencing glitches on her texting.
Thinks it might be getting messed-up somehow, might be a result of text predictive settings - SHEILA told her how to change the setting to default OFF.

GARY - Has been submitting problem reports to Apple & is amazed at the REFUND process which seems to work instantaneously! HooRay!!! Got his 1.99 back...
Working on his ink cartridges with hot water & windex (NOT a MS product ;-) soaking it for 15 min & replacing them - works great! Last but not least -
SHAPEWAVES - production company that will produce parts & pieces made of a variety of materials custom designed & produced to specifications. User's are encouraged to share their private designs.

HEY - here we go! Remember this list is in Reverse Order so if you're looking for something specific....

DOM is back for this meeting. Welcome to the Halloween meeting.

Jim remarked that he's having a problem with iPad not drawing pages from Google. Using 8.0.2. Long YouTube videos don't play after 10-11mins or so....
John Ledger (T-Mobile) says that in 10 years there will be only 2 providers & everything is in the cloud.
    MacNN link? ______________________________

Phil thinks he's having back problems because the new iPhone is too big! He loves it - the camera is excellent & he's testing the functions - will report.

DOM wants to know if anyone has a watch. Mark says he's getting one when they're released. DOC says the reason he couldn't get iTunes Radio on his iPhone5 was due to T-mobile not updating his data plan & when they did it started working... 30" DELL monitor won't work on his iMac because Dell doesn't make drivers for it... He's back to Apple.

I missed a September sale for ReadIris 14 Pro for Mac. They sent me email this morning to be able buy on sale for extended time in October.
If anyone would like to purchase ReadIris 14 Pro (great OCR software), the link to purchase it at $59 ($70 off) is: http://www.irislink.com/c2-2993-189/Readiris-14---OCR-Software---Select-your-version.aspx
I've used this program for many years and use it at tax time every year. What I like is that ReadIris will read columns and rows and export to Excel or Numbers file formats.
