Full moon drumming on picnic point

We will be having a drum circle at Picnic Point in Madison, on the Saturday night closest to the full moon each month. The first one will be on Saturday, May 17, starting at 5 PM and going till around 11 PM. This time we are at fire pit number one, which is the first fire pit as you're going out to the point. The stone fire pit at the end of picnic point was booked this month but I will try to book that one in the future. All Hoopers drummers dancers and assorted hobgoblins are welcome. Bring your own drum if you have one and we will have extras and various noisemakers available as well. Finally, if you are able to bring some wood for the fire, please do.

I have heard the point is hard to find if you are unfamiliar with the territory, especially at night. I am wondering if I could ride with any of you? also, I have a very bad back and was going to use a wheel cart to transport my drum. would the wheelie not work on the trekking surface?

depending on the type of cart it should work ok there... the ground is pretty flat, but it might depend on how soggy the ground is.

Does anyone have the address for Picnic Point? I am coming from Beloit and am not familiar with Madison so I would need to put it into my gps.

As those of you who know me already know, I have multiple sclerosis and thus, have almost no energy or strength. I will bring my drum, spirit, love, joy, and rhythm. It might also be nice to have some of the following, but I will have to leave that up to you
    - blankets
    - food (potluck?)
    - potable liquid
    - liquid that makes you feel funny (on the DL)
    - extra drums instruments noisemakers hoops etc.
    - anything else that might make the event even more fantastic!

So I'm handing this off to you all and whatever you come up with will be just perfect! One sound, one love, Jonathan

For those of you who were wondering, we are not doing the event at Lake Farm County Park this year because of the expense of reserving the park and the amount of effort it took Kathy to make it happen.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
