Drum Circle & Picnic
Saturday, June 2
6:00 - 10:00 p.m.
We have a beautiful location reserved at Picnic Point (sites 1 & 2) located near the main entrance and overlooking the south shore of Lake Mendota. The month of June's Full Strawberry Moon got its name from the Algonquin tribes who knew it as a signal to gather ripening fruit. Let's gather together along the shore of Lake Mendota for a drum circle and picnic.
Bring your own packed dinner, beverage and a chair or blanket.
There are no picnic tables at this location.
Firewood is provided by the preserve.
