Black Cat Club "The Crossing of Knives"

That's right---There's a theme now! Do you know someone who still believes a superstition regarding knives? Let's laugh about it while eating!

I didn't identify a venue so throw out your suggestions on where to eat for the next Black Cat Club. The restaurant doesn't have to offer table service, it just needs to handle a crowd.

Imperial Garden? Chipotle? Gray's Free House? Ian's Pizza?

Toss your ideas out there, we'll decide on one, make a reservation, and have a great time!

Couldn't make it, was my birthday. Are people up for an evening soon in a public house with some decent vintages?

Thank you. My favorite new haunt is the One Barrel Brewery. My one knock against it is that the noise level can get just as bad as Dexter's. Ale Asylum - same problem. Old Sugar - ditto. What about the Merchant merchantmadison.com ? People could get food if they want to as well.

I'm a Weary regular and we'll definitely need a reservation. Bluefies puts it further west so I think that's a good idea. March 13 at Bluefies?

Other options - Bluephies, Weary Traveler.

That almost sounds like Alfonso wasn't delightful too, but of course he was.

    Hi Cari,
I tried to get Brother Sam here a year or so ago. Check out High Noon Saloon and Barrymore. Both were open to the event.

BTW, I predict everyone will LOVE the Maharani!

Alas, the very same day and time when I will be presenting a demo of the spiffy Pages program to the Southern Wisconsin Apple Group. (Sequoya Library if you're more interested in Macs than knives.)

    Hi,
While thinking of venues and spaces--please help me find a space for a performance of REVIVAL by Sam Singleton Atheist Evangelist in July, 2013--maybe around 11th or 12th.
    Write me at [masked]
    Thanks!

I second Maharini at Broom and W Wash. Good, reliable Indian food and plenty of space so we can roll in without a reservation. All in favor?

Diego's on State? Capitol Tap Haus? Burrito Drive? Maharani?
