Provide better service to your clients with Transactional Email

For many web designers, automated emails are just something you quickly do— the client wants a shopping cart, you set-up the cart and an email receipt; a mailing list, the submission form, and an email thank you. The actual emails get very little care or deliberation, and what happens after they are sent is largely unknown.

Alnisa Allgood of Nonprofit Tech and Madison Nonprofit Day will discuss:

• What is transactional email.

• How you can use it to provide better service to and for your clients.

• Overview some transactional email services, with a focus on Mandrill by  MailChimp.
