Introduction

Hi

What is your background in web design? Just a few sentences.

Do you do web programming? If so, which languages? (I.e., ASP, Java, PHP, Rails, Python, ColdFusion, etc.)

A GIF leaves Long Island at 2 p.m. heading south at 72DPI, while a TIF leaves Philadelphia at 3 p.m. heading north at 300 DPI. Given their resolutions, what time will they collide?

I almost finished with the Tiedot project, but I hit a snag. I'll keep you posted on any progress. I have 3 projects that I assume are fully functional (at least the code is), all 3 websites written in Go. I have 2 MongoDB projects (one with and one without the Goku MVC package), and a Couchbase-Goku one that I might need to set up the database for. MongoDB should be up and running. E-mail your thoughts to [masked]. Thanks!

Hi Jon! Today I finished my Go MVC project. It turned out smaller than I thought it would, but it might make a good short presentation...maybe I'll throw in a Powerpoint. I might dig around for other Mongo Go packages and compare them.

Hi Jon... lately I've been playing with a new toy: a language from Google called Go. I also found an MVC framework for it that was modeled after .NET's version of MVC. Add a dash of MongoDB and lots of spare time, and get something crazy enough to work. I might dive into the NoSQL implications of this stack (at least arrays in "records"), if you think anyone would be interested (or at least entertained lol).

Hi Jon. It looks like I'll need a ride to the meetup again. The usual will be getting home from Hawaii that day. You can reach me at [masked] or [masked].

Thanks for the lead. I don't have the required years of experience, but do you think that's a problem? I found a technology that you might want to tell the guys about... RavenDB. It's a document-based NoSQL database manager that was apparently designed with .NET in mind. I just successfully wrote a simple Raven app, and I will investigate further.
