Reminder: Javascript Framework Showdown

Dear Members,

Our colleagues at MadMongers Perl Meetup have a meeting coming up of interest to web developers:

Javascript Framework Showdown Tuesday, October 18, 2011

We'll be doing a Javascript Framework Showdown. We'll have several different speakers, experts in each framework, compare and contrast the advantages and disadvantages of each framework. We'll at least be covering jQuery, YUI, ExtJS, and Prototype. We may also have speakers covering Moo, Dojo, and some others. You won't want to miss this one.

You might be asking yourself why we'd cover Javascript frameworks at a Perl user group. The reason is that Javascript and Perl work great together. They're pretty similar languages, and Javascript is great for the front-end where Perl excels at the backend.
