A Benefit for Resilient Roots

We invite you to engage and learn about the Permaculture movement in Southern Maine as well as the workshops and outreach offered by Resilient Roots. The evening will include a silent auction and farm art for children that will be hun
g in our Learning Loft at our demonstration site in North Yarmouth.

Founded in 2012, Resilient Roots is a Permaculture Education Collective in Southern Maine. We are teachers, designers, implementers and community organizers within the Maine Permaculture community. For several years, the founders of Resilient Roots have independently hosted workshops and events at local schools, universities, garden clubs, food festivals, adult ed., summer camps, community gardens, urban and suburban homes, and local businesses.

Our mission is to empower communities with skill sets needed to positively respond to environmental, social, and personal change through hands on Permaculture driven education. We are dedicated to fostering resilient human habitats while rejuvenating local ecosystems.

In 2013 we will be using Permaculture design to begin the process of regenerative ecosystem management at a farm in North Yarmouth, Maine. This site will provide experiential learning where we can re-skill and disseminate information, foster resilience and facilitate in the building of Transitional Communities.

Resilient Roots currently holds workshops in the Southern Maine area. Please visit our Workshop schedule for more information.
