Liz Newman's house
Join us for the first permablitz of the season on May 25 at the home of meetup member Liz Newman and family from 9:00am - 4:30pm!
Permablitzes are day-long work parties that put permaculture design into action! Imagine more than twenty permaculture folks working side-by-side for six hours resulting in more than 180 labor hours completed in one day, great fun, conversation, and camaraderie as well as experiential learning for all!
Liz and her family have been active members of our permaculture community for several years, volunteering for work parties and permablitzes while learning along the way. Theirs is a good example of a Portland neighborhood lot with all the normal "design constraints" you would expect, but also loads of opportunity thanks to permaculture design.

This is part of a series of permablitzes in and around Portland in 2013. Taking part in these events is one of the best ways to "put your name in the hat" for permablitzes at your own place in the future!
