Preparing for the Winter Harvest! Yes, you read that right. Even though it's only June, many of the wonderful-to-harvest-in-January plants will want to be planted in July/August/September. Will you be ready? LOCATION: David Homa will most likely be hosting in June - we'll tour his place starting at 6pm, talk about his winter harvesting experience, and follow up with the requisite potluck! Bring any thoughts/ideas/handhouts about winter gardening that will help us all prepare for planting our winter crops. Let's meet at 6pm to get some daylight time outside followed by potluck/discussion starting around 7:00 or so...all experience levels welcome! Potluck breakdown: Last name starting with A-G bring salad or veg or dessert Last name starting with H-M bring whatever you want Last name starting with N-S bring bread or beverage Last name starting with T-Z main or side dish to share

It was great to meet you all!!!!! I like the idea of flexibility in potluck offerings but am wondering whether if we changed the "bring anything" catagory to "bring EITHER of the following (your choice): main dish, salad or vegetable--it might help to round the offerings out a bit! Desserts could be kept separate in their own category.

David presented a wide variety of areas in his garden and did a good job explaining them. He's very creative.
