How did you find this particular group? (word of mouth? internet? etc.)

After reading about permaculture, I searched "portland permaculture" and lucked out that there was a meeting almost immediately after at Tom and Lee's yet to be finished home in Gorham. Been hooked ever since. Am amazed with all the people I meet.

What interests you about this particular group?

The community and support it provides. The diversity of knowledge seems boundless.

Are you living/gardening/growing predominantly in an urban, suburban or rural setting?

I have completed my Advanced Permaculture Designer courses and hope to teach it someday. For now I am practicing as time allows on a suburban/rural acre of partial woodland, off a private dirt road in Windham.

Introduction

The knowledge base, momentum, and community that this group provides is phenomenal. I am profoundly moved to be a member of such a group of like minded people. Hope to incorporate more and more of permaculture into my life as it goes.
