How did you find this particular group? (word of mouth? internet? etc.)

I recently joined the Seacoast group and saw the Portland group listing.

What interests you about this particular group?

I like what you say in your "mission statement", how well organized your page is and the things you've listed that the group is involved in.

Are you living/gardening/growing predominantly in an urban, suburban or rural setting?

I guess that depends on where you are from. Some people would call my area rural, I consider it more suburban (although it's some distance from a large city). I have lived in cities, suburbia, rural settings and some somewhat remote areas. I love gardening but, must make some changes to my present property before I can successfully produce much. I garden anyway but, it's mostly in containers or a community garden.

I'm just learning about some of the local groups that are interested in sustainability and related topics. I'm very interested in living in a sustainable manner and encouraging others to do so.

What Debra is saying about this Meetup Group

Have attended a couple of events and thoroughly enjoyed them. Looking forward to experiencing more.
