How did you find this particular group? (word of mouth? internet? etc.)

good friends are frequent participants.

What interests you about this particular group?

the possibility of connecting with like minded humans. a need to develop stronger skills regarding gardening. a place to share some of my abilities.

Are you living/gardening/growing predominantly in an urban, suburban or rural setting?

we recently moved to the suburbs of gorham. our house in limington has a lot of possibilities as a b+b or home sharing situation. plenty of room for gardens. the soil is very good.

My enthusiasm for gardening and belief in permaculture has not translated into success with gardening. My skill set needs improvement. Groups often provide focused support that is very helpful.

What liz b. is saying about this Meetup Group

the resilience hub and portland permaculture are providing timely, much needed information and access to building and strengthening community. the garden module series is well thought out and presented in a way that is understandable. the foundation is being laid for the growth of ideas and skills. pun intended! i am telling all like minded humans i encounter about this dynamic organization. i have experienced many groups. the permaculture community is unique, willing to share knowledge generously. i look forward to continuing learning and offering the skills i have to the mix.
