How did you find this particular group? (word of mouth? internet? etc.)

I found a YouTube video of some folks down in Florida, who were given a warehouse and some land for their program to help abused women get a new life. The group converted the land around the warehouse into a permaculture oasis. I contacted some of their members and it turns out they were part of MeetUp.

What interests you about this particular group?

I want to lend a hand so we can become self-reliant, function in harmony with Nature, and live a sustainable lifestyle.

Are you living/gardening/growing predominantly in an urban, suburban or rural setting?

I have been organic gardening for over 25 years in an urban environment. During this time I have had great success using discarded tires in which to cultivate my herbs, sweetgrass, sugarcane, miscanthus, comfrey, vegetables, ecetera.

Hi Everyone! I have been organic gardener for over 25 years. I have successfully grown sugarcane, tobacco, other medicines, natural dyes, high-protein plants, and herbs in Maine, all grown with Genuine Maine Rock Flour.
