The Resilience Hub & Portland Maine Permaculture Message Board › Neverdun Farm gathering in Arundel
|A former member||
The Wentworths have been at Neverdun Farm since the 1970's and over the years have put into use many improvements and practices on the place that are rooted in permacultural principles, including their big wagon wheel organic garden, a wide variety of fruit trees and berry bushes, several milking goats, (in their large family barn which was transplanted to the site in the 70's) large pond stocked with fish, a strawbale house (up for nearly a decade), their new cob oven, assorted solar panels and lots of other interesting stuff.
Join us for Sunday potluck breakfast at their place on the Neverdun Farm for the monthly permaculture meeting. Weekly Sunday pancake breakfast at the farm has long been a great way to catch up and socialize, and this time should be no exception. After breakfast, we'll have a chance to learn more about the farm - possibly even take a tour, and ask questions.
We'll also discuss the future of this meetup, including ideas for future skillbuilding workshops and gatherings, as well as the larger sustainbility initiative shaping up for our community.
Please RSVP at the Meetup page for PEAK (Permaculture Enthusiasts of Arundel and the Kennebunks): http://permaculture.m...
Next month: Processing Acorns into flour
Hope to see you soon!
