Sorry for the short notice but this is a special impromptu session of MakeDC as iStrategyLabs has graciously allowed us to host author Jason Fagone for a talk about cars, making, and invention. Please make it as it should be a very interesting talk!

Author Jason Fagone spent four years reporting on teams trying to win the Automotive X Prize, a $10 million competition to design and build the super-efficient car of the future. His book, INGENIOUS, was published in November, and now he's on an East Coast tour to talk about the lessons and legacy of the Prize. Traveling with him is one of the book's main characters, Kevin Smith, a man who built a 207-MPGe electric car with his bare hands in an Illinois cornfield. The car is here, too! Jason, Kevin, and the car will be appearing at iStrategyLabs on Friday, December 13 at 6 p.m. Stop by for a discussion about invention, the future of cars, and the joy of making things.
