Make:SF Feb 2nd @ Tech Liminal

Make:SF - a group for Makers of all ages, skills, and experience... - Come demo your projects! We want to see what cool stuff you are building and you can get feedback from other Bay Area makers. - This month our mini-project is techno-art cards. Make cards for birthdays, anniversaries, thank yous, congratulations, or with Valentines day coming up, your special someone. We will have LEDs, motors, batteries and, for the adventurous,
voice recorders. The basic kit will be $5 and the voice recorder will be $5 more. - As an added bonus we have a speaker this month! We have the people from Maker Beam coming to talk about the Mini-T Standard they are developing. Go check out their
site and starting thinking of the cool stuff you can do with their cool stuff. Also we are collecting dues so if you have not paid in over six months please bring $10 dollars to the meeting. All dues go to future mini-projects and other Make:SF events. This fun-for-all-ages event starts at 7:30pm. Children under 14 need to be accompanied by an adult. New to Make:SF. Here is what you can do: - New to making? Come and explore with a fun mini-project. - Have an idea? Come and we will help you get started making it. - Making something? Come and demo it. Get feedback and network with the Makers. - Come to see the speakers we bring in talk about their projects, tools you can use, etc.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
