Hello Makers,

Note:This month the meeting will be held at Gray Area Foundation for the Arts

This month we will be talking about our new MakerBot! We have been building it all of September and it should start operation in October. We will talk about how to create 3D objects to print, how the MakerBot works, and how to get time on it. The MakerBot will live at Tech Liminal but it will be available for use by anyone. Be sure to check out the the Tech Liminal Maker Services Page for more information.

This months mini-project we are bringing back the TV-B-Gones. Come work on your soldering and make a device that can turn off any TV. Impress your friends and annoy your enemies! The kits will be $30 dollars for non-members and $10 dollars for members.

Finally we want to announce that we will be at the the East Bay Mini Maker Faire October 24th. Come do a mini-project, learn how to get into making, get tips on a project you are working on and see all the other cool makers there are in the East bay!

This fun-for-all-ages event starts at 6:30pm. Children under 14 need to be accompanied by an adult.

New to Make:SF? Here is what you can do:
- New to making? Come and explore with a fun mini-project.
- Have an idea? Come and we will help you get started making it.
- Making something? Come and demo it. Get feedback and network with the Makers.
- Come to see the speakers we bring in talk about their projects, tools you can use, etc.
