In Cold Blood part 2

Due to it's everlasting popularity and the fact that we have a decent sized wait list for the first meeting. We will have a second meeting to discuss In Cold Blood the very night after at Tomato Bistro in Manayunk.

So if you are on that wait list, or can't make Tuesday night's meeting, feel free to join us for another discussion. I'm glad we are still reading books that demand so much discussion. I will send out more details and my cell as we get closer to May 1st. See you then.

Thanks for the heads up, Matthew! I'm not sure I'm going to be in the area that Sunday, but if I am, I'll try to make it.

Apropos- the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville (which is a great place to check out independent films and classics on the big screen) is showing the original 1967 In Cold Blood film on Sunday, May 26. It's followed by Capote w/ Philip Seymour Hoffman.

    Perfect timing.

DNA results are expected any day now, to either prove or disprove Smith and Hickock's involvement in the Florida murders referenced in the book:

I've not only not finished, but I've barely started the book :( Guess I was busier than I thought this month!

So, I hope a sense of humor is required for this book club. Just went to buy the book and realized quickly that "part 2" was not really the second in the series.

Is reading cold blood 1 a requirement or will as I expect, catch up quickly?
