Manayunk Book Club February Meetup

Our winner for February is Wool by Hugh Howey.

"In a ruined and toxic landscape, a community exists in a giant silo underground, hundreds of stories deep. There, men and women live in a society full of regulations they believe are meant to protect them. Sheriff Holston, who has unwaveringly upheld the silo’s rules for years, unexpectedly breaks the greatest taboo of all: He asks to go outside."

This book got many 5 star ratings on Amazon so let's see what all the hype is about.

At some members' requests, we're switching thing up and meeting on a different night this month. So come out on Wednesday for $5 sandwiches at Kildare's--and of course, great conversation.

I'm so sorry but I won't be able to change my work schedule for the 26th. So I won't be able to come to the meetup. Margie101: feel free to take my spot in the meeting. :)

I'm about 1/3 through the book and thoroughly enjoying it. I'm going to be optimistic and plan to attend, even though i'm currently on the wait list.

Waitlist people, please read the book and plan on coming, as we anticipate attrition. No alternate session is planned at this time unless someone volunteers to lead (I'm sitting this month out). Thanks!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
