21 October - Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand (1897, 288p)Cyrano gives an unique and tremendous approach both to French literature and "panache". Cyrano is the archetype of the French "héros romantique". His dexterity with words doesn't compensate for his physical deformity. Rostand's major play reveals the richness and subtlety of French language.

Next book club: 18th November
- Chronique de l'asphalte tome 2 by Samuel Benchétrit (2007, 288p)
