As i know a few good walks around marple i thought id suggest it. There's a train station (marple) that has regular trains to picadilly and lots of parking at or around it so I suggest we meet there. Looking forward to it.

Thanks Rebecca. I found his Facebook personal page but not the event page. I'll be in London on Sunday, so could you ask him if he will be planning any other events? I lived in Marsden from 1950 to 1960 :-)
That sounds really interesting but I'm going out fri & sat so probably gonna be i'll on Sunday.

Thank you all for a lovely day. I really enjoyed meeting everyone.
I am seriously thinking of investing in a sat nav.
Looking forward to the next events :-)
A beautiful walk, in beautiful surroundings, with beautiful weather and beautiful people; what more could one ask for. Oh yes, free wild food! :)

Hi only just seen this meet up. Is it ok to get there at 14.06?
0 · June 1, 2013
Yes, some of us are arriving by train at 14.06 :-)
Thanks Howard! :)
see you then rebecca :)
See you soon! On Marple train now.
See you at Marple!
I'm a definite maybe, hah! I could possibly act as Joshumoy's navigator from Manchester, I'm good with maps...
1 · May 28, 2013
Hope you can make it eric :) haha i think he would be happy with that offer!
Well, I suspected as much; as I'd be getting the train to Piccadilly, it looks like I'd be out of your way Josh. Oldham to Marple is much shorter and more direct than Oldham to Piccadilly to Marple...
0 · May 31, 2013
Hi Eric, it is slightly, really don't mind though, but I think it would be easier for you to go there direct, don't worry about me, I will find my way :)) Ok everyone, see you all tomorrow!

See you tomorrow josh good luck with the directions :)
Hiya not done any of this before. Will be dragging a friend along for her sins :)
Great, see you tomorrow janet :)
Hi guys, since the weather looks good I fancy coming down to join you. I've only a very basic knowledge of a few wild edibles but look forward to rekindling my interest. Should be fun!
Thats great matt, looking forward to meeting you"
Apologies to all. I'm unfortunately unable to attend the next meet up, as I've just remembered that I will be singing at a fundraiser on that date. Really sorry as I was looking forward to coming.Look forward to the next meet up!!!Nicola

to make things easy I think we should all meet at Marple train station as there is parking at the station, opposite the station and just down the hill from the station as Brabyns park. I've changed the postcode above so for those who are driving can use that for directions. For those who are getting the train there's a 13:45 train that leaves manchester picadillly and gets in at 14:06. My number is[masked], call me if you struggle to get parked up. Looking forward to seeing you all :)
I will probably get the 13:45 train from Piccadilly and arrive at Marple Station at 14:06.
There two stations in Marple. So this is "Marple Station" near the tenis courts, and not "Rose Hill, Marple" near the Middlewood way?
Yes its marple station need the tenis courts
I have no idea how to get there but look forward to joining and meeting all of you.
