Please tell us a little about yourself and your interest in foraging?

I like foraging because it means I don't need to make sandwiches before going for a walk. Foraging reminds me that seasons exist outside of supermarket aisles. I dream of collecting enough apples to make a keg of cider.

Although the group welcomes complete novices to very experienced foragers, please tell us if you have you any previous experience of foraging which could be shared on group walks?

Previous forays into foraging include mushrooms (under careful supervision), delightful Finnish berries (mustikka, juolukka, and puolukka) and the occasional blackberry growing above the height of the average Alsation leg-cock.

As the group has varying levels of knowledge about wild plants, do you accept responsibility for ensuring your own wellbeing and safety on foraging walks?

Hi, I live in Chorlton, wear hemp underpants and have been vegan since they milked the first soya bean. I believe in carrot cake, community action, and preventable cardiovascular disease.
